I haven't watched MNR in nearly 2 years due to the poor quality in writing and matches.
Has it got any better?

It all depends on what you like. I am entertained by a few wrestlers. Some of the storylines are iffy but they keep me tuned in. I say check in next week, just watch what you can. Its the build to SummerSlam right now, and its been good so far. 5 weeks to build is very adequate time for a PPV build.

I do agree that the amount of time to build up a PPV setting needs an extensive journey just so that we can be invested emotionally and give a care about the matches as opposed to what they did in May/June where there was 3 PPVs in that time. The only major critique I will make for Brock Vs Taker 5, if this setup had been done last year, I would take it more seriously, but given that Taker has intervened in Brock's match for revenge for gloating over the end of the streak a year and 4 months afterwards is extremely lazy.

I believe they will give more reason other than the bragging for Undertaker being so pissed off. I am very sure Kane will be brought up, possibly even Paul Bearer. There is even some fun rumor that Undertaker brings back his biker persona, which tends to be more aggressive in the ring if you think about it.
Title for Title match getting hyped between Cena and Rollins. Which means Cena will tie Ric Flair in title reigns and piss off every old school wrestling enthusiast still living today. But I would love to believe Rollins wins to give himself more bragging rights than ever before. Then again, Cena could win and suddenly, FELLA......
Very interested to see who faces Nikki Bella for the Divas championship. Apparently WWE is trying to keep the Diva pool full so it keeps Nikki as champ longer and sets her up to surpass AJ Lee's title reign. If it were to end at SummerSlam, I would like to see Charlotte or Banks pick up the win. I think Sasha Banks will drop the title to Bayley soon on NXT, probably the night before at the Takeover event. As much as I love Becky Lynch, she needs a little more time to grow. I think its why she has been very limited for in-ring work on live TV.
The cursed Intercontinental Championship I would hope gets to be defended at SummerSlam. Whether or not its vacated by then is a different story. If it is, then I would give it to Neville. Outstanding athlete and he could benefit by becoming champion. But I fully expect WWE to default and give it to The Miz.
Tag titles rest with Prime Time Players and they have done a very entertaining job of keeping them. Lucha Dragons, New Day, Ascension, Los Matadores all gunning for the titles is nice but.... no one stands out as true contenders. I long for the days of a team that shows up and you KNOW business is about to pick up. Ascension *could* have been those people but the WWE knuckleheads completely screwed them up by having them insult legendary tag teams they had no business insulting unless said teams could come around and show them whats up. I hope future call-ups like Enzo & Big Cass can maintain their gimmicks and continue to entertain.

I hope future call-ups like Enzo & Big Cass can maintain their gimmicks and continue to entertain. I can see Sheamus cashing in if Cena does somehow become a 16-time WWE Champion. I think it's going to happen one way or another. But that said your thinking on giving Rollins bragging rights for winning the United States Title has a lot of weight to it. True, he has never defeated John for the Undisputed Belt, but that said it would put him over so much if he were to win against the 15-time WWE Champion. Neville winning do so much for him as I think WWE are slowly gearing him up to be a Champion as the guy is super-over with the fans. I have been saying for some time that the Players were overdue a run as Champions and yeah, they are extremely entertaining. Titus does not have great mic skills to speak of, but he has tons of charisma which is a major key in getting over with people these days. As for the Divas belt, I really don't want Nikki to surpass AJ's record. Nikki may have improved, I will grant her that, but she's not what I consider to be a credible Champion nor wrestler. That and AJ broke the record of a credible former Champion, which AJ herself was a very credible Champion. The modern-day Trish Stratus.
